He will increase the sinn fein vote. He is spoken highly of here in donegal.

But if gerry adams starts making gaffs on economic policy it could all be undone fairly fast.

Speaking as someone from the south east I think he is very harsh and not well liked here at all.

Very loud, very in your face, very brash, very vocal, harsh, and very articulate in a Sinn Fein kinda way, personally I don't like his brand of politics at all, and I would say the same about Mary Lou ...............

So many Sinn Fein threads on here all the time. Are people multi-accounting or what?

Nice input of godwins law with probably less than 100 words on thread.

On Pierce Doherty its nice to see an opposition figure actually seeming to be opposing in a shouty way, Cowen was that way himself in terms of critics etc

He was making more sense on prime time than Dara O'Brien and had most of the economists agreeing with him so I would not dismiss him as a spoofer TBH.

Some - e.g the relatives of Jean McColville - may perhaps say thats not a bit harsh, its only a comparison of scale.
The Nazis had a history of making people disappear too, only on a larger scale.

He is very popular in Donegal, but an utter spoofer. I've seen more convincing economic arguments from my cat.
