As discussed in other postings these guys got some sweet deals for their constituencies…

And now the miserable dishonest Lowry & Healy Rae duo are reneging on their deal and not voting on the finance bill, no honour or word. Trying to look good to the electorate. The public service pension cut not being supported I cannot understand as these guys are in clover and need to be slashed.

We all know Lowry with his dodgy dealing with Dunnes, O'Brien and the like is a despicable character showing his true colours (plus I have local other local tales that cannot be posted here..) as for Healy Rea with the family plant hire business that gets almost all the Kerry Co Council road work!?

This is the kind of people we get in the Dail and you know who elects them: US.

Despicable local politics and NOTHING will change; I guarantee Lowry will top the pole in Tipp North and the family Healy Rae dynasty will continue.

So we are at this point in the s**t because this is what happens throughout the country, so much for your country needs you, more like I need my seat; me feín through and through?

FF have no more carrots to dangle in front of them and there's an election coming up. Of course they're not going to vote for anything unpopular.

They are holding out for items that are coincidently popular with the public and by more coincidence, is giving them loads of personal publicity!

Healy-Rae is a selfless politician, who only serves the national interest, well, according to him anyway.:o

Better late than never, I suppose.

Because these assurances I got this morning I am voting for the Finance Bill it will probably be my last vote in the Dáil and I am doing it in the national interest., to give our country stability for job creation and to encourage foreign investment.

Well there is possibly still always a first time for something - even for him at his age! :pac:

Michael Lowry's seat is one of the safest in Ireland. If he thinks he needs more publicity to guarantee his seat he need not worry

A master at getting himself in the news while his base in Thurles has huge unemployment :(
A lot of people are laughing at this casino project but there isn't a county council in Ireland that wouldn't lobby against their neighboring counties for 2,000 construction jobs and thousands of full time service jobs afterwards. Maybe it'll never happen but it's good to dream

And now I've gone offtopic, yet again :)
