    So, every generation blames the last for being, vacuous, cowardly and mollycoddled!!!

    Is there any truth in this?

    AH compared to a few years ago is

    * relentless banality

    * fresh and tasty

    ????

    Can this be a poll ? :pac:

    pretty please mods!!!?:P:)

    -everything changes

    -there's nothing new under the sun

    -comparisons are odious

    all the above are true in their own way. AH of a year ago is not AH of today, same as anything else.

    Honestly, I don't know.

    I started posting here in 2007, but back then I was usually drunk most nights, so I don't remember all that much about it.

    Is after hours not as good as it used to be? Yes in my opinion. However I blame the current/next generation for allmost of Ireland's problems. I should point out that I don't have any kids and as a child in the 80's, the 80's was the best time to be a child so anyone around my age (28-35) is automatically fantastic and absolved of any blame.

    These threads have been coming up here every few months for many years, it's pure out and out nostalgia. It was never as good as you remember.

    I'm registered on here two years but only posting since October or so, AH seems to be the best thing about this website as long as you don't just want to chew out a specific subject. There are probably as many threads giving out about AH over the last week as anything else so can we give it a rest?

    Easy. Just point at them & say "it's all your fault".

    Theatre of philistines. Just look at Jonjo's the Miser and RobitTV's threads.

    Fun to confuse them with two-syllable words though.
