Some prices seem a little too good to be true in some cases, and you know how the saying goes.

    Are they a trustworthy business?

    Thanks for any feedback.

I bought a car from them nearly two years ago and I mentioned to one of the guys that the car was about two grand cheaper than most others were selling it for (after the sale was agreed obviously). He was aware of this and suggested that most others were probably just marking up the prices so they could offer more for trade-ins and give discounts etc. I was given less than half what others were offering for a trade-in but it still worked out cheaper.

The lower price also means less room for negotiation, not that I wouldn't try.

I'd imagine that if you kept an eye on their website it's likely you'll notice that they sell cars their quicker than others.

As for trustworthy, in my experience, yes, they are. And of the three people I dealt with there, they were all friendly, as were most other places where I viewed cars with just one or two exceptions.

    Thanks Topper.

The price of the car I'm looking at is also approx 2k cheaper than the average price I see online, which is what concerns me.

I've bought two cars there in the last few years I did have a little problem with one brought it back repaired it no problems. One car I bought the guy that traded it in dropped in a set of roofbars he had for it and they rang me and gave them to me, ya can't fault that....... Real garage with real people, several garages in that area change names on what seems like a weekly basis but they have been there for a while now......

I got the same offer. I think I'd sooner pay the 200e and get it fully serviced.

I bought a car there in 2005. I wouldn't buy there again or recommend them. I was happy with the cost of change for the car I bought but I did have aftersales issues with the car which were not resolved to my satisfaction.

I bet you don't fly ryanair either. But then again i bet the next time you're car shopping you'll look at there web site first (Biil Griffin i mean).

Mate of mine bought a Focus off them a few years ago. Rare enough it was a 1.6 petrol hatchback which had come in from Uk. Again very cheap, very little discount, and nothing has gone wrong. Just work off tighter margins, and get stock from a lot of different places I imagine.

As you can see, there seem to be more good experience's than bad. If they have the car two grand cheaper than somewhere else (or everywhere else) it's overpriced everywhere else.

After I bought my car, I kept an eye online at some of the other cars I had looked at and were more expensive and lower spec than the one I got. They were still for sale at least five months later, one of them had even gone further up in price:confused:. I stopped stalking them around then.

As for aftersales dealings with them, I can't really comment. The only problem I've had so far was the battery which needed replacing recently, long after the three month warranty was up.
