    Hi all,

Hope you can help me with this query. Have already been looking through threshold and citizens advice but cannot find information relating to my situation.

We signed a six month lease on April 22nd 2010, it ended on 22nd of October. We stayed on in the house but landlord never produced a new lease for us to sign, or agreed on a set occupancy period.

How much notice are we legally required to give to end our tenancy?

    Thanks in advance.

After a lease ends you fall under part 4 of the tenancy act, according to this you should give 5 weeks written notice.
