Best Modem Router for ps3?

    Hi everyone, Im looking for some help here. Everytime im online on PSN, I get disconnected for some reason or another. As you guess, its very annoying. I narrowed the problem to my router so im looking to see whats the best etc.

    or can they advise me on good routers? My ISP is Perlico.

    Have you tried forwarding a few ports, also it may be the modem that Perlico provided you with. I had the same problem a few years ago and after numerous phone calls to them telling them that the modem was the problem they finally gave in and sent me out a new one. Problem solved.

    Are you having any issues with certain games or just the PSN?

    Also what make and model of modem/router do you have from Perlico.

    Havn't tried Port Forwarding yet to be honest. Never really could understand it.

    It happens most games on the PS3. It also seems to happen when someone turns on the computer, I loose connection on the PS3. My Modem/Router is ZyXEL P-660HW-T1 V2 .

    A friend on PSN had the same problem as me and he bought a router similiar to the one in my first post and he hasn't lost connection since, hence why im looking to get a different router.

    i had the choice of getting either that one or a netgear today, i got the netgear DGN1000 and so far so good, no problems
