I recently aquired a nice LP copy that needs a good set up. The original owner messed with the wiring and has some cold solder'ed joints in there causing some buzzing midway along the bridge volume pot also.

I need to get it re-wired and set up.

I have had work done by the guy in xmusic before and it just was not a good experience.

Everyone says Derek Nelson is the guy to talk to. I know my best bet is to call him, and i will, but as a rough idea, how much does he generally charge for a setup, and a re-wiring?

Are we talking 200 bucks, or a little less?

I just got 3 guitars (Les Paul, Strat and Dano) setup by Gerry of Haze Guitars. He's having a setup sale for January so the three cost me less than a hundred and the Dano needed more than a setup. He might be worth a call, I've been happy with the setups, actually the gibson is like a new guitar.
