Cycling injury?

    Hi all!

Newbie poster instead of Lurker in these parts!

Went on a wee 2 hour spin this afternoon, didn't push it too hard, came home, shower and a few hours later noticed my left leg was a bit stiffer than my right. Passed no remarks until drinking a cup of tea I rested it down on my thigh and realised it was quite sore.

Had a quick look and there's a decent bruise but with a lump a bit bigger than a golf ball. Now I know for a face I didn't bang it and I even hopped back up on the bike to check that my clearance was ok and there
Is no way it's from catching it.

Any way this is from over working a muscle?

No matter the lump, I'd suggest getting it checked out by a doc.

I'm just perplexed as it wasn't there before cycle and definitely not when I came home!
