Putting Lesson

    Hi folks,

I got a present for a 1 hour lesson in the K-Club for Christmas.

I've think putting is the area that I need to improve the most. I just wondered if an hour is too much for a putting lesson?

I've only ever got half hour lessons before and wondered if I could use it better.
Also any ever been to the K-Club for lessons? Any advise appreciated.

    Additional info:
I have no problems driving the ball
Irons are so-so, bit of room for improvement alright but I rather not change my swing just yet.
I went to the Dave Pelz clinic (wedges) in Nov so I'm working on that.
Putting is pretty much hit and hope. I also got a new putter recently so getting a feel for that.

    Thanks for any advise,

    Willy

K Club isn't exactly famed for it's lessons... Why were you thinking of there?

I always prefer 30min lessons for everything. Even book two 30 min lessons in the space of a couple of weeks, with practice in between and you'd be better off.

Im sure someone would have a good suggestion for a club pro in Dublin who does putting lessons. My guy teaches a fairly out-there method.

Its a voucher I got so it has to be the K-Club.

Not a place I'd be going back to, hence another reason I don't want to mess with my swing. I usually go to Dave Lavelle in Spawell when I need to.

In that case maybe get a chipping and pitching lesson. They have good facilities there in K Club, which Dave doesn't have in Spawell, and you could easily spend a useful hour on wedges and bunker shots. Would do you good too.
