The remains of suicide bombers...

I was listening to the news about the suicide bomb attack in Moscow yesterday, and one of the developments was that they had found the head of the attacker (:eek:). And it got me thinking about what they do with the remains of suicide bombers when they recover them. Do they give them a proper burial? Return them to their families? Flush them down the toilet? I know it probably depends on what country they incinerate themselves in, but it's tickled my curiousity. Any ideas?

I can't imagine there would be a whole lot left most of the time to do anything with. Probably just scrape it up and dispose of it with the rest of the crap.

I'd say at most there would be a handful of teeth left to bury, and maybe a few small bits of flesh. Funeral costs would be cheap cos you could bury them in a shoebox rather than splashing out for a coffin !!

Apparently the head normally 'survives' the blast. And that's one of the ways they can identify who the bomber was.

They use the fragments to attempt to make an I.D. either through visual means (if the head is intact) or DNA, fingerprints, etc. They can also use the scale of the damage and the type of burning to establish the size of the bomb, how it was configured and what explosives were used in it.

This can be used to attempt to identify the organisation involved and possibly trace the source of the explosives used (as they have to be bought/gotten from somewhere).

Then they'd probably be returned to the family if he's identified, or thrown in a hospital incinerator along with removed appendixes, limbs, etc.

Well what do they do with the corpses of deranged gunmen who kill a few dozen before being shot dead? I would imagine if there are any substantial remains then they would apply the same procedure.

After they're done with the investigation of what type / size of bomb is used as well as identifying the bomber they then:

1. Remove the top of his / her skull.
2. Remove the brain.
3. Proceed to take a rancid shìte in it.
4. Put the top of his / her skull back on.
5. Make a witty joke about said bomber being a "shìthead"
6. Throw the head into the incinerator.

In most cases they are incinerated and ashes 'scattered'. There generally isn't much left of the bombers (depending on the size of the device). Usually, it is just the head/skull and a portion of the spinal column and a portion of their legs. The devices usually make complete ****e out of their torsos.

I worked in the post 9-11 Security Industry in the United States and got to travel to different conferences on different topics. Suicide bombers were always the 'hot topic' as the next generation of terrorist activities in the US.

They should do something to the remains that is completely abhorrent to the religion of the suicide bomber which would mean that they wouldn't get into heaven or wherever. That might discourage a few of them. Bury them with dead pigs or something.
