is it a good idea to keep the central heating circulation pump workin when the boiler is off. I set my oil boiler to turn on/off every half hour on a time switch (save oil) but the pump also goes off as they are wired together. should i separate them and run them independant. I was thinking of fitting a time off delay relay and set it to 20mins after boiler shuts off. there is only one wire running out to the boiler so it would be difficult to wire another time switch on to the pump

Two options wire the pump and burner together or else have the pump working of s stat, I dont know if your boiler has pump over run. That said where is the wiring for the frost stat.
