Looking to bring one pair of decent all around shoes like the "Merrell Chameleon" and one pair of sandals(covered) for my next trip to Asia.

Has anyone any suggestions on what make/brands to go for?

I know alot of them are expensive but if they are something thats comfortable and lasts for the 6 months then I'm fine with that.

Any help would be great :)

I have a pair Salomon XA Pro 3D Ultras which I have had for over a year. It is actually my third pair as I find them a great fit and really comfortable. There are different types which you can check out on the Salomon sports website.

Same boat as yourself, went for these:

Got them a bit cheaper at the time and with free delivery worked out best deal for me. Tried on the Hedgehog shoe in a shop for comfort and size, these basically the Hedgehog without the gortex lining

Are they good and breathable? My feet can get very hot, so a good pair is vital.

I havent even worn them out yet, only got them recently, was meant to go for a bit of a hike last weekend but weather wasn't good for it.

They should be breathable tho, its mesh material like running shoes. Like yourself my feet get very very sweaty, thats why I went for these over the gortex shoe.

Ended up getting a pair of these and have to say they are extremely comfortable.
