Gaa training in Dublin

    Just wondering if there are any clubs in the North Dublin area that would entertain country players to train with them? Might help make up numbers etc.

    Theres a few of us from Cavan from an intermediate club possibly looking for someone to train with. Its not that its that hard to go home with the new road but the whole process can take up to 5 hours after work etc.

    Maybe someone could help me in this, thanks a mill.

    There's loads! Most dublin clubs would be delighted with extra numbers showing up to training and there are literally hundreds of country lads up here training with various clubs. Find a club with an intermediate team close to you and approach them.

    There is a club in rathmines that is literally just all country lads, not a Dub in sight!

    I am involved with St Brendans in Grangegorman. It is in Dublin 7. Not too far from the middle of town and close to Smithfield and Phibsboro. We have 2 Gaelic Football Teams, 1 Hurling team and are in the process of setting up a Ladies Gaelic Football team. We train twice a week and accommodate players who just want to train with the club. Our club is made up of members from near and far. As we have no underage teams we are always happy to see new faces.
