Any hire company allow to use personal insurance

    Any hire company allow to use personal insurance, I am based in dublin

    My insurance allows me to use a hired car from any company but not finding any company that allows .

    I know big companies like Avis , Hertz , budget etc do not allow that .

    I want to take a car from Dublin to France and so far I have found no company that will allow me to take the car aroos on ferry .

    Only way I have found is small company who allow me to use my own recovery and insurance .

    but want to know what small companies operate in dublin.

    I know that Sixt allow users to drive on their own insurnace provided they have the correct paperwork for their insurance company.

    Regarding taking the car to France, I don't know of any car hire company that will allow you to take the car abroad on your own insurance primarily becuase of the cost of repatriating the car if you decide to leave it there, and this is not covered under your insurance.
