There are lots of private hospitals that carry out full health checks but they can be very pricey depending on what you want ( cheapest I found was €250). They do carry out a full range of tests though - many of which you may not need. I rang my local GP and he told me that as I was in my 30's there wasn't any need for me to have alot of those tests done that are carried out in the private clinics. However this was based on my medical history that he has on file. So I would recommend that you ask your GP.

I went to the local hospital where I got blood tests done for free. The results were sent to my GP and then I had a visit with him for a general health check. (checked bloods, blood pressure, heart, moles and asked various questions about my overall health). It was the same price as a general GP visit.
