Any cycling events on T.V?

Like to watch any Irish individual or the An Post team this year.

I see Nicolas Roche is taking part in the Etoile de Besseges on February 2nd and the An Post team are starting of in the Tour of Qatar on the 6th Feb.

Does anyone know who is broadcasting these events?
is there a broadcasting rights list i can find online?

I thin eurosport will be showing the Tour of Qatar - well they did last year anyway.

Normaly watch mostly on Eurosport, but there should be some online sites like JustinTV, etc which show them too.

Both the Tour of Qatar and the Tour of Oman are being shown on British Eurosport 2. Both races are six stages each, from what I gather 3 or 4 from each are being shown live. There'll be a highlights show of each stage of each race in the evening anyway.

Unfortunately, because it's on Eurosport 2 rather than regular Eurosport, this means NTL customers can't watch (I think anyway), whereas Sky customers will.

Then yeah, as abbeyside says, most races are watchable on the internet anyway through cyclingfans.com. I'm not completely sure, but I'd expect the Etoile de Besseges to be streamed live somewhere on 'tinternet!

Nope, UPC/NTL have Eurosport 2 aswell as 1 and HD.

Ah fair enough. That must be a new thing is it? They didn't have it a few years back when I was with them. We'll all get to see a few of the Irish lads so. In addition to the An Post team, Matt Brammeier will be making his debut for HTC-High Road leading out Cavendish in the sprints.

It's a list of eurosport's cycling coverage, it's not a list of broadcasting rights.

There's extended highlights of the tour of Oman on the RTE sport website at the moment. A strange but welcome development.
