Oh there are quite a few. Pop down to Rosegreen Raceway in Tipp to see them in action. There are different classes for stockrods and lightening rods...

I think this chap is referring to Mod' Model A and B Fords etc.

Its funny the way people perceive things differently.
If someone said 'I bought a MK2 today' some people would think Volkswagen Golf, others an Escort, I think Jaguar!

    Agreed.

That machine makes the coolest V8 sound I have ever heard.
My 928 has a modified exhaust (by the p.o.) and makes a fair crackle, but that yoke is pure music:cool:

    Good question lad!

    Anyone???

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,037 ✭✭✭shagman

It is, I think they are just insured as a modified classic, which the majority of classics are anyway in some way (few are totally stock/ OEM parts). The lads on Irish customs should point you in the right direction. You thinking of buying or building?

Am getting near finishing a modified Mk1 Ford Escort Estate.
And have a restorable (weldathon) 2dr shell also.
But now am thinking of doing something different......

Ford escort estate meets ranchero perhaps. I thought about doing that to my Scimitar.
