Hey folks Im just wondering is this normal

iv eircom 3mb broadband (cant get any higher:mad:) and 384kbps is the upload

Now I have very good stats on my phone since I live right close to the exchange but one my connection test on my ps3 the upload was 0.58 kbps and did another test and now its 159.5kbps

still thou that seems pretty low, I understand contention and all that but to go from 0.58 to 159 like that seems weird

I wonder could it be do with my ps3 being in dmz or somthing

edit now its 276.7kbps, you see its so much up and down, has to be something up

Dont think that the ps3 connection test is that accurate, mines is way off the speed I actually get.

True mine reads 4Mb but my PC says 20Mb and they're both wired up

**** it, broadband is gone and might not be fixed till Wednesday. For the past week iv been getting no internet light when I sometimes turn off and restart the modem and that could be why I'm getting dodgy upload speed I think. The dsl light is on but no internet activity.

**** it and I wanted to download demos tomorrow too
