Has anyone actually taken their dog to and back from France recently? How do you locate a vet in France to certify the dog for return to Ireland?

You have to get a pet passport done before you leave which takes 6 months as they have to have certain vaccines. If you do not get this done, your dog will have to go into quarantine on the way back.

Afaik, if you have the pet passport done, on your return from france before you leave it will be checked at customs? But i could be corrected on that.
