Canopus ADVC 110- Clueless about connection

    I just changed my laptop to an INSPIRON 1564 which has 3 usb ports, 1 HDMI AND 1 VGA port but now I don't know how to connect it to my Canopus ADVC 110.

    I used to use a 4pin fire wire but now im clueless.....help :o

    Short story is you can't in the current configuration- do you have an expresscard slot? You can buy an expresscard to Firewire adapter and that'll sort you.

    Unfortunately, theres no express card slot.

    This is massively frustrating :(

    Anyone know of another digital converter that I can buy that does the same thing as the canopus advc 110?

    And that uses hdmi?
