    hi all,

can anyone recommend a good spot in Europe, on the coast, that has a good mix of watersports & also nice restaurants etc.?

We've been to Lagos (last year, liked it but found it a tiny bit on the quiet side at night time), Sitges (a few years ago, off season so again, not all pubs/restaurants were open).

I'm more in to lounging by the pool, reading & having a look around the shops.

Himself wants to be entertained/go on an adventure.

Ideal situation would be somewhere with easy access to plenty of watersports that would keep him occupied during the day, and then a good choice of restaurants & pubs for the evening/night.

Have been tempted to try France but dont know where is best to go.

We're not in to clubbing, but would like somewhere with a lively atmosphere that we could dip in and out of if we wanted to. Just found Lagos really quiet during the week (and then a bit too crazy at weekends)!

Anyone care to give me their top 5 best beach holidays ever?

Hello, i got a return flight with Aer Lingus to Dubrovnik, stayed for a night and caught the 3 hour bus ride to Budva, Montenegro we stayed in a rented appartment in Sveti Stefan for 8 nights, at the time it was extremely cheap to eat out etc. beaches are gorgeous, nightlife good and overall a great holiday. Nice to explore somewhere different and your other half should have to plenty to keep him entertained while you tan on the beach. Think they used the castle in Sveti Stefan in a recent Bond movie. Have fun!
