Repair Volvo Windscreen wipers?

    Hi there,

During the snowy weather my wipers were damaged by a large amount of snow sliding off my roof and onto my moving wipers while i was driving. (Forgot to clear the snow from the roof...wont be happening again). Wipers were clearing the snow fine until a large bang occurred and they stopped moving..

Anyway i want to finally get around to having them repaired.

It seems like the motor under the hood is still operating but the wipers/wiper connection to the arm under the hood is not working correctly. It seems to be slipping, like there is a cog system under the hood (Haven't been able to get access to this..)

Can anybody recommend a good mechanic in the Dublin 6 area that could maybe have a look at this?

    Thanks
