Questions re CAP1 Lectures/Exams/Revision Course

I was just wondering whether the notes from CAP1 lectures or the lectures themselves are of worth? I am considering doing the revision courses for my 1.5 remaining CAP1s (management accounting and tax) but have heard not so good things about lectures and nothing about the revision courses.

Also there is a continuous assessment element to MA this year, anyone know any details on this? I am an external candidate so any help is greatly appreciated.

u never really know until the exam comes. i suppose the lecturers are totally separate to the examinors so they cant give u material with any certainty at all on whats going to come up.

recently the examinors have been totally fcuking people over and revision would appear to be a complete waste of time sometimes. saying that, the lectures etc. are probably worth a shot - they wont hurt anyway.

examples + solutions (notes) and past papers + suggested solutions = prepare yourself for head against wall (banging) frustration at mistakes.
