I was wondering whether or not it is possible to modify my Sig Sauer P226 to be able to take a silencer. Due to my lack of experience with airsoft guns I'm falling back on the old saying 'No such thing as a stupid question'. :D

    Cheers.

The easiest way to do it is to change the outer barrel to a threaded one, and then it will take a silencer :)

    Cool. Thank you.

What about modifying the current barrel? Is that an option?

Not really, you need the barrel to be longer than the slide along with there being threads on the barrel so you can screw it on.

I think ehobby and the likes stock 229 threaded barrels.
