    Hi there.

I'd like to know if somebody here is doing or know something about the tution fees to do a master at DCU (specifically I am interested in M.Eng. in Telecommunications Engineering) ...

Well my doubt is the next. How much are more or less the fees to enroll in a Master??? Because I've seen the next link http://www.dcu.ie/finance/fees/schedule.shtml and ... well, the prices are totally unaffordable for me (I'm actually living here, but I'm not Irish, just from the EU), but also in the next link it says:

    Fees Reduction
This programme is supported by the Higher Education Authority (HEA) under their Graduate Skills Conversion Programme, resulting in a reduced fee for European Union citizens. This is subject to review each year but in 2010/2011 the fees payable per annum by EU citizens were reduced to €2,000.

(I've been in the CHOiCES EXPO this weekend but didn't know and even there wasn't a stand of the DCU..)

    Anybody knows something about??

Regards and tnx in advance!! :)

The Skills Conversion Programme has been running for years, but the funds are renewed every year, so there is no guarantee for next year, but in reality it will be the same. So it will cost you 2k.
Contact this person for more detailed info on programme http://www.dcu.ie/info/staff_member.php?id_no=1274

Since you are an EU citizen you would have only to pay the Graduate Skills COnversion programme fees. They are going up for the next academic year though. They are 2500 euro now and will be 2750 euro for the academic year 2011/2012.

    Thx for your replies.

I sent an email and they basically tell me the same, so the fee will be 2500 + an unknown increase.

Another question that I have about this master is .. Somebody knows about the number of applicants that this master has?? I mean, it is difficult to get a place here? Do you need really good grades in your degree?

    Regards
