All rads but one working in the house turned heating up and no joy
But when i turn off all rads in the house bar the one not heating it starts to heat wtf. then i turn on the rest of the rads and it goes off again. its a closed system with termo valves

Any ideas on how to get this rad working
    Thanks

I was going to suggest airlocks i.e. bleed rads . However, from what you are saying it sounds like the system is out of balance. Most likely this would be the case if the rad that is cold is the last one in the loop. Most people would get a plumber in to fix this - but it's quite easy to do really. You just adjust the OTHER valve on the other rads to reduce (very slightly) the amount of hot water they are taking until your cold rad warms up. It's a trial and error thing and I always end up going round the house a few times making very small adjustments until I get it right. I normally try to get the living room rads high and the bedroom ones lower, but that's a matter of preference.

I'm not a plumber - and I guess you're going to hear plenty of other opinions ...

Most likely a case of balancing the system, plenty of informed posts on this and have a look at the boiler stat setting.

Tryed the balance system and they all worded when i set them to one but when i went over one on the thermo valves the rad stoped working again:mad:

as its a sealed system would their be a shortage of water in the system:confused:
