Same here man, I've formed my own ac/dc tribute band in Dublin, so I'm just looking for a rhythm guitarist too. When did you form your band?

We formed just before Christmas, have a great singer and lead guitarist but we can't get a rhythm, you would think that would be the easy to find but not the case

Your lucky, I formed mine last year, but its really hard to find people interested in it.. Singers seem to be a problem for me, especially trying to get a Brian Johnson.. Well as it happens I play rhythm guitar too, despite owning several gibson sg's..
I know a lot of rhythm in ac/dc, and thats how I approach a song, learn rhythm first, then work out solos..

The singer has a more Bon Scott vibe going on, he was the one who wanted to do the tribute and I'm just going along for the ride (play drums). I suppose its so hard to find good singers, that when you do find one its important to keep them

I'd love to play rhythm with you's, just location and distance are obviously a huge problem for me.. I also have a les paul copy, despite playin sg's in my other band..

Ah I wish ye were based in Dublin, I'd jump at the chance to play.. My friend has a Gretsch White Falcon too, the guitar that Malcolm used during the Back in Black tour of 1980/81!

Was half thinking of buying a Malcolm Young Signature Gretsch Jet Firebird!

I love the sound of his guitar..

    Lads,
Not a guitarist, (drummer), so sorry to jump in on the thread but, considering that Malcom Young has the coolest job, EVER, in rock n'roll, dont see how you have not got loads of responses to this add.

Now, sorry for that, back to your search......:pac::pac:

Same here man, I've put together my own ac/dc tribute band, and up to now, I had very little success in finding a rhythm guitarist, but I have one now.. Just need a good drummer now:rolleyes:

    Hello gents,

My name is Billy and I may be re-locating to Kerry (or somewhere in Ireland) in the near future. Are you still looking for a Malcolm? I've played loads of Malcolm's parts in various cover bands I've had throughout the years, and always thought it would be a blast to do the full-on AC/DC tribute. I can do the moves and everything. Would just need a wig, but that's no worries, as most of the best tribute bands have a wig or 2 in 'em. Look forward to hearing from you~ cheers, Billy
