Love bite causes heart attack & stroke!

23-01-2011 8:16pm#1Know what you're thinking, I went to far and tried to pull some xHamster move on some unsuspecting Copper Face Jack's regular and took it too far - but no, wasn't me at all, was some Maori bloke ..A 44-year-old Maori woman was reportedly admitted to a hospital with a mild heart attack.
She was diagnosed by the doctors with a mild stroke and was treated with warfrain, a powerful anticoagulant.
She was surprisingly found to have a bite spot on her left neck that has caused injury to a major artery. The bite was later discovered to be from a love entangle, according to her information. She told them that it was a love bite which is called a hickey which she received a few days ago.
The case study was published in a report recently published in the latest issue of the New Zealand Medical Journal.
Dr Teddy Whu, one of the doctors who treated the woman, said: "Because it was a love bite there would be a lot of suction. Because of the physical trauma, it had made a bit of bruising inside the blood vessel. There was a clot in the artery underneath where the hickey was."
Dr. Whu said that the clod was dislodged and travelled to her heart and that caused her with the stroke. Had she not been treated immediately, she could suffer even worse situation.
He added that this kind of example has never been published in a literature before and it can help to send an alert for those who are keen for a love bite.
