    Freesat you mean.

    Freeview is solely via aerial.

    See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_free-to-air_channels_in_the_UK
    Some need adding via "other Channels"

    Irish TV is only via aerial right now, Analogue getting turned off end of 2012, Even when Irish TV is FTA on Satellite, it won't work on a Sky box.

    @Tony

    In the same boat, was there much hassle setting up the channels?

    @watty

    Guys who installed my TV on Friday just heard that there is a way of putting the DTT signal into freesat boxes now...

    I have 8 points in the house pre-wired for TV and they are linked via F-180 controller. Trying to figure out how to get DTT to each point along with central freesat box signals.

    The F 180 is simply a TV distribution amplifier compatible with the remote eye used for remote control of Sky Digibox. I have one here.

    You can use a diplexer at each end of a coax to put satellite & TV down same coax.

    There is no way to "put a DTT signal" into a Satellite box without a DTT Transport stream receiver and then DVB-s modulator, and an empty transponder frequency. You need one set of that for each DTT multiplex.

    If you have a Multiswitch you can feed satellite and TV signals to as many rooms as you want and put diplex splitter to split the DTT/Analogue TV band and Satellite IF band to TV set and Satellite setbox.
