Cost of tiler (Cavan) and recommendations on flooring

Would ideally like one flooring through the whole space (sitting room and playroom will be carpeted). Ideally we'd like tiles and have got a quote from Tile Giant for the whole lot for €1700…

Hi there,

I have a fairly large space to floor - front porch, hall, utility room, cloakroom and kitchen. Comes out at 110 sq yds. Would ideally like one flooring through the whole space (sitting room and playroom will be carpeted). Ideally we'd like tiles and have got a quote from Tile Giant for the whole lot for €1700 plus adhesive, grout. We are probably going for a large square tile, 30cms square or 40cms square.

What kind of price can I expect to lay all these tiles?

Any reasonably priced alternatives? Note, this is a holiday/second home that we would hope to sell when the market picks up (fingers crossed) so are doing it up fairly neutrally (long story).
