    Google 'Zafira gear linkage' ;)

Clutch fluid is low, if it has an hydraulic clutch. Then its caused by either the master or slave cylinder leaking. Just a stab at it now, not 100%

Reverse is always the hardest to get (first to stop) unless everythig is working properly. Check anyway if I,m wrong it wont cost you anything best of luck wih it.

The gears you select from rest will always be harder on the clutch (as other poster pointed out).
AFAIK Zafira has a cable linkage which can be troublesome.
