o2 broadband globesurfer III questions/help

    im thinking of changing from my Huawei E1752 to the globesurfer III and i just have a few questions to those of you who have one of these or had

    1. are these any good i.e will they work as welll as the huawei
    2. will it work with an i-pad
    in your personnal opinion is this a good device or bad as i had a Huawei O2 Hotshot on trial and it was sh#t


    any help advice is much appriciated

    The type of modem you use shouldn't make any difference to your connection. If you're using one with a built in Wifi router, and connecting to it via Wifi, then that may be a problem. Wifi has a limited range. Mobile Wifi routers, like Mifi, are probably the worst for this.

    I have a GS III .. second one .. first one failed but was replaced without problems - no problems since. Wifi coverage within the house is fairly good - picked up by all by wifi devices (PC's, Wii, PS3, XDA, laptop) without problems.

    Pity the O2 BB coverage itself is not as good as the router!
