Are cleats included, and if so are they in similar condition?

I'm curious about how you've managed to put so little usage on a set of 2007 pedals :)

Well spotted lads:D I did indeed buy these a few years ago, put them on my bike and after a few kilometres discovered the Q-factor was too narrow.
These only have 6 degrees of float, not enough for my liking:(
During this short spin my hips and knees started to ache, when I returned home I just removed them from my bike and put them back in their box.
The cleats have only been used once.

These days I use speedplay zero, with a 1/4 inch longer spindle:)
For me this is a near perfect setup:D

    Any more questions?;)

    Thanks for that info SD.

I'm actually looking to widen my Q-factor, so it looks these wouldn't be suitable.

Very nice looking though, good luck with the sale...

OK, I'm having major pedal/knee issues and need to experiment.

    Offer €60 + postage.

Sorry I can't offer more, but I may end up having to re-sell them after a few hundred kms, at which point they will look properly used.

edit: I'm in Dublin, if that helps.

Well Lumen dude, if you have any biomechanical/knee issues...I would stay away from SPD-SL pedals altogether:eek:
These have a cleat that has only 6 degrees of float...

Yeah, well.... biomechanics is complicated. I'm currently running eggbeaters on the commuter bike which are really unstable. My knee was twingy this morning; I looked down and saw a horrific amount of toe-out which I've never had before. I thought I'd try a more stable platform and a bit of float restriction.

How do these compare to the newer shimano pedals as a matter of interest? I know the new Dura-ace are carbon and silly money, but are the new Ultegra SPD SL's on a par with these older DA ones?

    - I have Ultegra currently, but have swopped em onto my winter bike, so a 2nd pair might be the right idea.

Well, you can get the current Dura-ace alloy pedals, in the cycle superstore for €130.
I can see that the newer pedals have a wider platform, offering more foot support. I recall reading some people, had some knee issues with the newer design pedals.

I have both dura-ace and ultegra groupsets on my bikes, the quality of the dura-ace stuff is far superior to ultegra, both in function and finish:D
