go through your cv and pick out your key jobs and make a few points on each one just so you have structure to your answers.

know abit about the economy at the moment.

show enthuasiam and excitement where you can.

they know your inexperienced so you got show you want it and confidence in adapting to the new role.

havew some questions for them when they ask for some.

I just got into a senior role myself in big 4 from a medium practice but they took on some from smaller practices too.

i wudnt expect to go into much depth around accountancy (by the way is this for a role in audit or fin. services). also if u have any ifrs experience mention it.

Its an audit role, not fs. Would they ask technical questions e.g. specific standards or FRS?

id imagine them askign a bit about managing jobsm deadlines and juniors, dealing with troublesome clients etc

also brush up on estimates, impairment and recoverability

Thanks. By estimates do you mean provisions?

if its for FS senior roles then capital reserves in the case of regulated banks and insurance companies. basle III or solvency II could be relevant. if you were in an interview are showed a basic awareness of this you could prob hit some serious brownie points

    in non FS, yes provisions

what big 4 you applying to? pm me if you wish, and i prob cant emphasise enough re team management being a big aspect of the interview, tho others may tend to disagree?

actually just saw the original post where u said this is for a limerick office so FS is probably not relevant? you'll prob be auditing manufacturing/services
