Wimax in clarecastle

Apologies if in the wrong area, but does anyone have wimax in Clarecastle and if so how does it fair as a product against eircom. I pay 60e a month to eircom for line rental and up to 8mb broadband download speed but the lone can only take 3mb anyway. Any advice is greatful,

Get 3.5mb roughly on a 6mb connection with Vodafone for 35 a month including line rental and a certain amount of free vodafone and national calls
