Installing radio help

I bought a 2nd hand car there the other day, there is a radio in it but its not connected up. I had a bash myself, managing to get power but no sound. There's still a couple of connections that dont seem to slot in anywhere on the back of the radio. Your man I bought it off said he never used it but it should be easy enough to hook up.

I might just get this looked at by someone, I think there may be a connection missing or something going by a few videos I looked up on the net or I am doing something wrong. Any ideas who would be best to take a look at it? Would most mechanics do?

Can you make some photos and point out where you in trouble ?
As it all depends what radio you have and other features you are using like amps(s), CD box, RCA-s etc

Its just a fairly basic radio, I have attached some photos now. I only bought the car 2nd hand and the radio wasnt hooked up so not sure what goes where.

The first picture is the 2 connections that need to go in the back. One fits but the other one doesn't. One appears to give power, would the other be the speakers?

The 2nd photo...I am not sure what this or if its even for the radio?

The 3rd photo is the front of the radio.

you need an ISO lead (a plug and play harness) to may your wiring loom suit that stereo. most motor factors sell these for around a tenner, just tell them the make model and year of car you need it for.

the second picture is for the aerial, you may need an adapter for that too, theres are around 2 euro, from a motor factors too.

Ugh, old Blaupunkt radios... Something will go wrong with it eventually. I went through countless amounts of them.
