Who will lead IMFF into the next general election?

Comical Lenny: the man who brought you the cheapest bailout in the world.

Mary Hanafin: the fussy schoolteacher who talks a lot but says nothing

Micheal Martin: you know he's sincere because he speaks in a deep voice

    Or someone else?

Who will lead Fianna Failure? 30 votes

    Mary Hanafin

    Micheal Martin

They could elect Lucifer himself as party leader and it wouldn't stop some people from voting for them, if the opinion polls are anything to go by.

OP - Sh1t on a stick would do a better job than any of your listed nominees.

I'd like to see either mary or martin from the above poll become the new leader but for comical value I would choose some comedian like neil delamere!? or Fr Dougal! lol

Yeah, some moron set up the poll. It was probably his first time doing it :o

Bring on Dev Og - at least he's in the cabinet unlike the so-called front-runner Martin. FF is appealing exclusively to its core vote in the coming election so O'Cúiv is the best draw. Back to the roots.

That would be the cabinet that marched us to bankruptcy! :D

Yeah, at least Dev Junior will be in keeping with the 'best' Fianna Failure traditions...

I regard both equally tbh, too much politics of the past in this country.

Ignorant and offensive remark considering one of them already has cancer ( and has a family who might not agree with you ) and to the many people who on here who have lost family members to cancer.

I've heard a rumour that Mary Coughlin's left breast has put itself forward.

He did a great job, for the De Valera lineage anyway, but his mere mortal dancing-at-the-crossroads subjects weren't so lucky. Long may he rot in hell.

By the way, I have it on good authority from the twit who set up the poll that Don't know/Don't care is unsurprisingly well in the lead on 56%, but Micheal 'serious voice' Martin is way ahead of the other two with more than twice their combined votes.

He even looks like Mickey Michaels in The League of Gentlemen

    Hello folks.
We've got a large thread on the "Cowen situation" here:
    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056155944
I think its best we stick to the minimum number of threads on this one. The politics forum is the best place for discussion on the proposed new leader.

If anyone has any questions, concerns, donations etc. please drop me a PM.
