How to register Ipod?

Hi all, got a new ipod there a few months back and not sure how to register it! Never had this problem before.

Anything I put in the "postal code" section is not being accepted. I've tried everything. It just keeps giving me this message: "The Postal Code may be empty, or for Dublin, enter a one or two digit code, or a digit followed by a letter"

Driving me nuts as I want to use itunes! Any help appreciated.

Yeah, I've tried every conceivable combination! Where would I find that setting? I haven't seen it so far...

    Thanks!

I'm not sure, think it may be a new set up? It's been a couple of years since I last registered an ipod, but I don't remember it being like this!
