I'd just like to say thanks to those responsible for the €150 reduction in my take home pay due to raised taxes and an income levy more than doubled and re-branded USC.

This coupled with the inevitable rise in everything due to the 2% raise in VAT and the continued rise of fuels due to idiotic carbon taxes makes me so happy and proud of the nation.

So, thank you:

Idiotic Irish people who just needed to "own" a home regardless of the whether they could afford it or not.

Idiotic Irish people who insisted rent was "dead money" and was "paying the landlords mortgage".

Idiotic Irish people who needed possessions they could not afford to validate themselves, and purchased these possessions using credit.

Idiotic Irish people who continued to vote in a proven incompetent and corrupt party.

Idiotic Irish people who spout out the line "there's no alternative".

Idiotic Irish people with their criminal apathy.

Idiotic Irish people who's main focus and concern is a pint.

Idiotic unskilled and uneducated Irish people on the dole leeching from the rest of us.

In fact, I'd like to say thank you to you. Thank you for paying your taxes, which allows me to lead the extravagant & lavish lifestyle that I currently lead.

Without wanting to speak for the OP, I assumed he was referring to the perma-unemployed underclass who never worked during the boom and never want to work. We need less of them, in my view.
