Suprised theres no mention of this considering the implications of the game for Ulster. Ulster are leading by 3 and not looking great seems to be a similar performance to last week but Adam D'arcy is going well. The only 15 in Ireland playing HC rugby? Might be deserving of a call up to the Irish squad (yes hes Irish qualified)

    0-3 with 15 minutes gone.

Aironi try called back for a forward pass.

    Meanwhile, it's Biarritz 14-0 Bath.

  • Nice work from D'Arcy to put Trimble away...

Big performance from him today could see a call up.

    Ulster try.

Brilliant from D'arcy and Trimble finishes

    10-0

    DG for Aironi, 3-10.

This is poor enough stuff, to be honest. Biarritz have 2 tries on the board already, even if Ulster get the BP I wouldn't want to have to rely on Biarritz not finding another 2 tries at home.

Ulster are so uninspired, a very dull team

Ulster are such a boring team

  • Lol at all the negativity above. This was never going to be a beautiful game.

Why is that? Piennar, Humphries, and Wallace are very creative players, but every time I see them Ulster are very boring.

I have yet to see Ulster play a beautiful game this season!

Coaching gameplan I'd imagine, though I remain to be convinced of Humphries and Wallace's creativity at anything beyond Magner's League

Ulster maul it over and Wannenburg touches it down. Huge score.

    6-17, conversion missed.

And they've done the same thing again.

    (He got the conversion thomond!)

    Another try, 6-24. BP surely?

Biarritz 21-0 Bath, they'll get the bonus too IMO.

    Biarritz 21-5 Bath now

Biarritz have their 4th try, they're going to win this group. Ulster on the road in the Quarter Finals

at the moment leinster are the 1st seeds while ulster are 7th. That will change over the weekend

Northampton and Toulouse can both overtake Leinster with a win while if both Leicster and Perpigan win with BPs Ulster will drop to the 8th seed

I hope not. For all the talk of Ulster being the easiest team I would much rather Toulon. Also I'd like to see two Irish teams in the semis.

    +1

2 Irish Teams in the semis would be brilliant. Plus it would mean extra revenue for the IRFU, as Leinster will fill the Aviva whoever they get

I'm starting to think it's simply not possible to play the game like ferris does and stay fit. Any update on his injury?

I really hope he is back for 6n, partly because I want to see dk have to make a hard decision re SOB rather than have a slot opened by ferris injury....

Congrats to Ulster, well done. Be interesting to see how the QF's shape up over the weekend.

Congrats Ulster, with 5 wins out of 6, it is well deserved. Bit unlucky not to win group
