I'm a new billpay customer with o2 on the €60 a month plan.

I was in US and sent a few texts back to Ireland, the total was to the amount of €4.53

so i presumed my bill would be around €64.53 but its actually €68.69

I'm trying to figure out how exactly they arrive at this figure, would i be right in saying they add the 4.53 to a pre vat amount and then calculate the vat? Would that explain why its slightly more than what i was expecting?

Would you not be better off asking O2 how they calculate their bill?

Aster if you go to 'my account' on the o2 website, you can get a full breakdown/calculation of your bill which tells you where each charge came from.

Specifically, its under 'analyse bills' and then press 'view details' of the bill in question.
