wanted: basic road wheelset

Anyone got a set of road wheels that can take a 9speed cassette in good condition? nothing fancy, maybe a stock wheelset that has been replaced. For a friend on a budget, 70quid-ish, more if you can include tyres

I may have a nice looking Bontrager SSR wheelset which I am willing to sell, didn't really plan on it until I saw this thread. They are the same as the ones seen on the following bikes, I would include red Vittoria Rubino Pro tyres and tubes if you were interested and get you real pictures of the actual wheels. Let me know if you are interested (could see if I have a cassette too if you need one). They came stock on my Trek and are in excellent condition, perfectly true and straight (helped by me being only 57kg) and upgraded them that is why I am selling them.

Yeah the Bontragers would be excellent. What price are you thinking of? I'm afraid it's not for me so the budget is pretty much fixed, I have a cassette as well so that's ok.

Could you go a bit lower, say 85? I am on a properly tight budget and my friend doesn't mind going new and basic for less money although that'd be a pity. I'm in Dublin, clontarf to be specific.

Sorry I don't think I would sell them for that...you can never have enough wheels so would keep them as spares instead!

Yeah that's fine, I did ask her and she said she wouldn't notice the difference anyway. Anyone else got a set for 70? Or either front or rear for around 30/40 mark?

I have a brand new set of bontrager ssr with bontrager tyres,they are brand new came on my tt bike but never used them as I have few other wheelsets, I can email pics later but they were never used,I'm looking for €130.
