TV3 announcer cutting in over Tv shows/films...

Was watching the end of Cruel Intentions on tv3 earlier and the announcer piped up telling what was on after the film, only problem was that the film wasn't even over yet....

Of course they then play the credits to the film (the Irish stations sometimes don't) and they're wasn't a word from the announcer.
Bit mystified as to why they didn't just wait a minute or two until the credits were rolling...

TV3 are always at this, surely they would have realised at this stage that they are doing it and quite often too.
Was watching Come Dine With Me the other day and the announcer came on just after the second ad break, was quite amusing.

It's not as if it is a new station...

Saw this happen on Come Dine With Me, completely puzzled at the time

It pisses me off that all of the channels interrupt the credits to let you know what's on next, even Sky Movies (thieves). You can never get a clean copy of anything for posterity.

At a guess, the voicetracking is done during the day, but incorrectly timed to fire by the PC, so it ends up a few seconds early.

I was so annoyed by that last night too! Ruined the end of the film even if I had seen it before.
