Why was the thread regarding the GAA's role in Irish sociey closed; no explanation was even given.
Can sport simply not be mentioned in this forum; even with regards the effect an organisation that happens to be a sporting organisation has on Irish society?
Similar issues that stem from various other spheres that have their own specific forum's are regularly debated here.
Why do forums that mention sport, in a general sense, always get locked; even when they're about the effect of sport a sphere of influence on the general populace, rather than sport in a specific sense?

Because it had turned into GAA discussion, and the reason an explanation wasn't given immediately was because I wanted to leave a link to the GAA forum in closing the thread.

We have forums for discussing Soccer, GAA, Shooting, Golf ect, AHs is not one of them.

We did allow a thread for The World Cup, but was an exception to the rule.
