Rover 75 : water in the wheel well?

I opened the boot of my car today to find that the wheel well (where the spare tyre is stored) was full of water.

I experienced this same problem a couple of months back and I got the seals on the boot of my car changed and I got the seals changed around the rear lights, to ensure that no rain water was leaking in to my boot.

Have any other Rover 75 owners experienced this same problem?

It ain't the seals, it's the vents

Had the same problem on my 75. There are two of these, one on each side of the boot. Just peel back the carpet and you'll see them. One of them is probably leaky. Try with the hose on the outside of the vent and see which one has water coming through. Take out the faulty vent and replace it.

BTW it has "BMW" mareked on the part number
