Can anyone think of a reason why a landlord would withhold a lease from a person who had already signed it, but didn't keep a copy of it, and now is requesting a copy of it. anyone know of a reason why landlord would hold off getting a copy to me? :S

The obvious answer is that there's something in the lease he hopes you've forgotten about.

Or he may just have lost it himself as well

Or he may just be a bollix

www.threshold.ie may be able to tell if if you have the right to demand another copy.
