Has there been any more about these since, and whether they intend to run candidates now that an election has been announced? Last I heard they were unsure as to whether they would run candidates, but looking at their policies I was fairly impressed, can't see how they'll have any influence though if they don't contest…

I'm not sure if they've decided to run anyone, but they are still active and are holding meetings around the country. Check out their website for more info - http://nationalforum.ie/

How about www.2nd-republic.ie. They aren't running any candidates. But they're getting all candidates to support a plan for a national convention to examine the whole system and the constitution.
