Try the M1 petrol stations, my local centra sells a variety of headlights (Swords) but they are closed now. Also try tesco in Clarehall, and actually now that I think about it, the 24 hour place on the Swords road to the Airport (It's a texaco) sell bulbs, might be a bit out of the way but worth it. Was in there this week and noticed it.

Make sure you know what type of bulb (H4/H7 etc) you need as they will need to know that.

    Good luck :)

For future reference, I'm like yourself and used to do long trips at night, so I got into the habit of buying spares just in case, you'll always use them, but you'll have them if you unexpectedly need them.

Try the Texaco near the airport first, it's closer, and as I said I noticed they'd a display of bulbs the other day :) Big forecourt too, so you'll have plenty of space if you need to change the bulb. What type of car is it? Can't remember the M1 stations having them but I wasn't looking and they weren't obvious.

Best of luck to you :) Let us know how you get on, so people in the area will have the info for future reference :)

I hope you enjoy your trip, I love driving at night.
