I'm not joking when I say the 2010 A6 is the most annoying car to sit behind in traffic, even when the brakes are not being applied the LEDs are blinding Audi are totally taking the piss. They seem to be wayyyyy too bright it defeats the purpose of having LEDs in the first place as combined, they must be using the same power as a normal Bulb.

The power useage is far less for the LEDs compared to traditional bulbs. They are also much faster acting which is very useful for brake lights. They are also pretty nice. The silly thing is that an awful lot of people have run out to buy these 'new' model A6 when infact the real new model is on its way shortly

I know how much power they use but when you combine 25 Leds @ 1 - 3 watt each on one part of a light cluster? stupid audi.

I meant the combined power useage for the complete light is significantly less than traditional bulbs for a given light. The combined power useage is so much less that in cases where people have attempted retro fits of LEDs, the cars through up the bulb gone warning as the current draw is so low.
Also, having these LEDs on the front of my car & having left them on once for many many hours by mistake, I can confirm that they had no effect on the battery performance whereas a traditional parking bulb would have cause a flat battery
