high pitched sound from hot press

    hi, I just noticed a high pitched sound from the room where the immersion tank is (hot press). It isn't loud, it sounds like continuous whistling or squeaking. I switched of the power for the radiator pumps, but the sound continued.
    Any info would be much appreciated,

    Do you have a house alarm in the hot press? If so it could be transformer noise. I would switch off all power to determine if it is from an electrical source.


    Any battery operated devices there?

    I have a new one and even that whines a bit :( nature of the beast I guess.
